OVERVIEW
As part of the AOA Perimeter Security Fence and Access Road project, Titanstead Construction work straddled the boundary between the “landside” portion of Terminal A and its AOA. Titanstead Construction installed a 4,270 LF perimeter separation fence for Terminal A in order to allow the AOA’s construction area to become landside. Also installed were the Matrix access control systems and associated security accouterments such us cameras, magnetic locks, and door alarms to meet TSA and MIA requirements for airside/landside boundaries. As a result, construction personnel were allowed to perform daily construction activities without having to pass through the security process at the North Terminal Development Gate.
